Fermes de Figeac, an agricultural and regional cooperative in the northeast of the Lot department, is structuring its timber business. With two subsidiary sawmills, it is seeking its future leader for this sector! A hands-on individual, specializing in timber harvesting and processing, you will be responsible for these two entities, which currently employ 25 people and generate €5 million in revenue.
This new position aims to support our development strategy, which for over 40 years has focused on maximizing the value of all the resources in our region. Initially focused on the agricultural sector, Fermes de Figeac has gradually expanded into other areas: local food, renewable energy, and more recently, timber and construction materials.
Fermes de Figeac is now demonstrating a strong and determined ambition in the timber sector, developing an integrated strategy that combines industrial excellence with increased market penetration. Together, we now wish to play a major role in the timber ecosystem while contributing to a circular economy and responsible growth.
