European Parquet Consumption Shows Stabilization

According to the European Federation of the Parquet Industry FEP, parquet consumption in Europe has stabilized in 2010 after two years that were affected by declines. According to FEP , particularly the German market showed a positive development and even the French market. For 2010 FEP expects a total consumption (all FEP member countries) of 95 million square meters. In 2008 total consumption was at 101,500 million square meters and in 2006 at 108 million. Parquet manufacturers still have trouble on the Spanish market, but some want to see first signs of improvement.
