On Thursday, June 15th, Vandecasteele Houtimport was honored with the Voka Charter Sustainable Entrepreneurship (VCDO) 2023 certificate, marking their 22nd consecutive recognition. The prestigious certificate, acknowledging the recipients' exceptional sustainability endeavors, was presented by Voka - Chamber of Commerce West Flanders and POM West Flanders. The ceremony took place at the Staf Versluys Center in Bredene, where six companies, including Vandecasteele Houtimport, were specially recognized for their unwavering commitment to sustainability.

The recipients of the Voka Charter for Sustainable Entrepreneurship (VCDO) consistently incorporate sustainability as a core element within their business strategies. Guided by the United Nations' 17 sustainable development goals (SDGs), the charter's criteria carry a global significance, making it an internationally recognized achievement.
