Russian plywood export volumes have gone down for the first time in several months, indicate the statistics published by the Russian Federal Customs Office.
Thus, according to the latest data, in January-April Russian plywood export volume came up to 813,400 m3. That is 3.92% less than in the respective period of the last year.
The total value of the Russian plywood exported in January-April 2017 came up to $341.6 million and grew by 8.3% year-on-year.
In January-April 2017, Russia exported 744,500 m3 of plywood to the non-CIS (Commonwealth of Independent States) countries.The value of the exported plywood came up to $316.3 million. Exports to CIS came up to just 68,900 m3 in volume terms and $25.2 in value terms.
