As Polish media reports, window and door manufacturer Stolbud, with locations in Włoszczowa and Pszczyna, will soon stop production. Stolbud Włoszczowa started work 50 years ago. There, wood and aluminum windows and doors are made. In Pszczyna the company manufactures plastic windows and doors.
Stolbud is part of the Koronea group based in Berlin, which manages the companies of the owner family Wypychewicz. This Stolbud Włoszczowa had taken over in 2006 in an economic imbalance and shortly afterwards bought the plant in Pszczyna. Both have been part of the Koronea group since 2010.
As a reason for the closure of the Stolbud works Koronea called an unfavorable financial development and consequent concentration on the core business. This is the second company of the Koronea Group, ZPUE SA, which develops and distributes electrical transformation and switchgear for industrial and municipal applications.
