Peter Müller was founded in 1974 by Mr. Peter Müller in the small village of Möderscheid, located in Eastern Belgium. The company’s initial goal was to transform the region's abundant spruce wood with small diameters into posts for orchard use. Over time, Mr. Müller expanded the business by investing in a second impregnation machine, a biomass boiler, and drying chambers. In 1985, the acquisition of a milling machine allowed the company to produce machine-rounded posts, and soon after, fences were added to the product line. By the 1990s, a sorting line and joinery plant had further broadened the range, incorporating wood constructions.

"To address the ban on creosote (tar oil), we invested in a method that incises the stakes to increase the depth of impregnation, extending their lifespan by several years. We control the entire production process, which makes us fast and flexible," explains Leyens.

Today, Peter Müller's product range includes customizable posts and stakes, available in three impregnated colors: olive, brown, and dark. In addition to these, the company manufactures high-quality gates, custom-made shelters, carports, roof trusses, timber-frame houses, and other wood constructions, including logistics and assembly. Impregnation services are also available.

"We are excited to expand our customer base through Fordaq, especially in Belgium and neighboring countries. Right now, I’m the only one managing this, but soon, two more team members will join me, reaching out to potential customers several times a week to build the next generation of long-term business partnerships.
