Pellet prices in Germany falling slightly in July

The price of wood pellets in Germany fell again slightly in July, as shown by the survey of the German Energy Wood and Pellet Association (DEPV). On average, one tonne of pellets costs € 236.36 for 6 tonnes purchases. This is 0.6% less than in June, but 2.2% more than in July 2017. One kilogram of pellets costs 23.64 cents and one kilowatt hour (kWh) of heat from pellets 4.73 cents. For fuel oil, pellets have a price advantage of 28%, to natural gas just under 20%.
