At the beginning of July, Borg Manufacturing produced the first board on the new Siempelkamp MDF plant with ContiRoll in the 8' × 18.8 m format and a special lightweight board package. The order volume of the Australian company also includes a Siempelkamp Compactor, which will offer the steel belts in the press effective protection and open up significant increases in capacity and quality, especially in the production of thin MDF boards.

The production spectrum includes panels in a thickness range from 1 to 25 mm. Based on the lightweight panel package, the Australian company can produce particularly lightweight fiber panels. A diversified product range with a large range of thicknesses and densities is thus secured.
