The retail prices for wood pellets of the quality ENplus A1 in Switzerland have declined in April due to seasonal factors. At the end of the heating season, the average price for pellets (delivery volume 3-8 t) fell by 1% compared with March, down to 372.3 CHF / t. Thus, the average price is only 0.2% lower than in the same month of the previous year, when the average price was at 373.1 CHF / t, which is practically the same level as the previous year.

Depending on the quantity delivered, the price per tonne varies between 360.30 (8t) and 385.60 CHF / t (3t).

Larger quantities for commercial customers are traded for an average of CHF 344.99 / t. This is 0.6% less than in March and only 0.3% less than in the same month last year. Here, too, the previous year's level is practically the same.
