Description |
Teak comes from Indonesia, Burma and also grows in India, Thailand. It has also spread in part to Malaysia, Borneo, the Philippines, tropical Africa and Central America. Teak flooring from Javanese is the right choice for everyone who prefers durable exotic wood.
Teak has narrow, light yellow-brown white wood and dark golden-brown heartwood, which darkens to medium or dark brown in the air on the surface. Unlike Burmese teak, teak has a more vivid structure, a more comprehensive range of colours and a more diverse structure. Teak has a density after drying from 610 to 690 kg / m3, on average 640 kg / m3. It dries slowly and has good stability in use. Teak has medium flexural strength, low stiffness and impact toughness, high compressive strength and is moderately suitable for bending. It can be worked well. The floor panels are intended for laying by full-area glueing. After applying, it is necessary to regrind the surface over the entire surface of the sandpaper 150. For full-area glueing, we recommend the use of polyurethane glue brand KIESEL BAKIT PU-P, which ensures that even as highly oily wood as teak does not peel off the substrate during use and the tackiness will not be disturbed.
