For an export-oriented, traditional family business in the wood processing industry in the Mondsee area, we are now looking for a shift supervisor in the Mondsee area, Upper Austria Reference number: 327

Your tasks
 You are responsible for the production processes in terms of performance, quality and compliance with the specified delivery dates at shift level.
 You are also responsible for the technical management of the permanent and temporary staff, in this context you are responsible for personnel deployment planning, compliance with quality and safety standards and operations in compliance with all legal regulations.
 You are responsible for the organization and training of new employees as well as for setting up a qualification matrix for your employees (multi-system capability)
 In your shift you pursue the specified productivity and quality goals as well as the precise and timely execution of the production orders and are responsible for eliminating faults, if necessary, together with your employees and internal maintenance.
 You are also responsible for cleanliness and order in the production area.
 In cooperation with production management, you will continuously develop and optimize the existing production processes and employee qualifications.
 You see yourself as an active link between employees and production management.

Your qualifications
 You have completed training (apprenticeship / master craftsman's examination / HTL) and have at least three to five years of professional and management experience in a similar environment.
 You are stress-resistant, resilient and you are used to working in three shifts.
 You enjoy leading and developing employees.
 You are very interested in production-related processes and you are quick to grasp technical and organizational relationships
 Lean and CIP methods are no stranger to you - continuous improvement is in your DNA.
 Ideally you have a good knowledge of Excel or you are familiar with operating systems for production feedback and order control  Experience in the woodworking industry is an advantage.
