CUS-80 90 KW PELLET PRESS
Structure and base constructed of electro-welded steel, motor base made of electro-welded steel sections.
- Feeding hopper with 2.2 kW feed reel – 0.75 kW dosing auger
- Compression chamber feed opening with product inlet via a 0.55 kW gearmotor, constructed entirely of stainless steel.
- Compression chamber door constructed entirely of stainless steel, installed with sturdy hinges connected to the load-bearing structure (the design offers either right- or left-hand opening depending on requirements). The door features a safety system that prevents it from opening during operation. Two knives are installed inside (anchored to the structure) to adjust the pellet length.
- Drive unit consisting of a forged steel bell, a trapezoidal pulley, and a forged steel roller shaft (forged in a single piece). The rotor is coupled with opposing, adjustable tapered bearings. Compression occurs with two rollers adjustable with levers (adjustment screw and counterscrew). The die is anchored to the bell with tie rods and self-locking nuts. A wear ring is located in the bell housing to house the die.
- Machine complete with one stainless steel die to obtain the best pellet quality.
- Machine complete with two grooved compression rollers made of heat-treated steel.
- Closed-circuit lubrication of the rollers and rotor bearings (used grease is collected at the rear and does not leak into the compression chamber, thus preventing contamination of the pellets).
- Grease pump mounted on the machine body, automatic as standard
- Safety system in the event of roller/die jamming, with a mechanical pin calibrated based on power, which stops the machine via an inductive sensor.
- Drive unit transmission with V-belts connected to the drive pulley.
- Swing motor base with belt tensioning tie rod
- Installed motor: 90 kW, 380/660 V, 50Hz.
- End-of-cycle oil pump, used to lubricate the material in the compression chamber and facilitate start-up when the machine is cold.
- Air-water atomization unit complete with feed solenoid valves, time-controlled by the PLC.
