Out patented fire protection product can be processed like normal wood, but maintains its stability and rigidity even at high temperatures.
PYROSTONE® is an effective fire retardant for at least 60 minutes providing a very high level of safety. Fire tests with a 40 mm thick PYROSTONE® door (frame of the door leaf with PYROSTONE® spruce edge banding) demonstrated a fire resistance of more than 68 minutes in accordance with the European standard EN 1634-1. High fire resistance, good adhesion and optimal screw extraction resistance make PYROSTONE® the ideal material for every demanding door construction. By standard we use local spruce from Alto Adige for our PYROSTONE® components. PYROSTONE® is however also a perfect fire protection solution in combination with other types of wood. PYROSTONE® is used in many contexts such as: • Doors (ledgers and cross bars) • Partition walls |
