Södra and Statkraft launch biofuel company

Titan Group about to acquire former Rusforest sawmill in Arkhangelsk

The Russian Titan Group is about to acquire 70.71% shares of the former RusForest OAO Arkhangelsk Woodworking Sawmill №3 (Arkhangelsk LDK-3) from the off-shore company Venicross Investments Limited. The Group already received approval from the Arkhangelsk Office of the Federal Antitrust Service (OFAS), and the transaction is expected to close soon. Back in December 2014, Titan Group's subsidiary, Lesozavod 25, bought 24.9% of Rusforest's Arkhangelsk sawmill. After the transaction closes, Titan Group will own 95.61% of Arkhangelsk LDK-3 shares and plans to acquire the rest of shares by 2016... [more...]
