High volumes of residues from large sawmills meet a reduced demand of the wood products and pulp industry. Sales difficulties in MDF due to the crisis in laminate flooring, a sales slowdown in particleboards and falling pulp prices front a high cutting performance of the sawmills. Winter stocks are built. Many processors have reached the limits of their storage capacity. Next to the wood products industry, pulp mills curb production.
