Pöyry has been awarded two engineering contracts by the Ministry of Transport of Bulgaria for technical assistance for the modernization of the railway line along the Sofia - Dragoman and the Sofia - Pernik - Radomir sections in Bulgaria. The value of the contracts is € 1.7 million.
The project objective is rehabilitation of the 53.3 km section Sofia - Dragoman and the 97.4 km section Sofia - Pernik - Radomir. Pöyry's services include preliminary investment analysis, a feasibility study, and technical design for the purposes of obtaining approval.
