Unilin sues Balterio in the Netherlands for patent infringement
Unilin announces that it has filed a lawsuit before the court in The Hague (The Netherlands) against the companies Balterio NV, Spanolux SA and its distributors and agent Forinn BV, Van Hardeveld Tapijt BV en Kok Houtagenturen BV. Unilin claims that these companies infringe Unilin’s European patents EP 1 026 341 and EP 1 290 291 which protect the technology for the glueless joining of floor panels as well as the application of certain bevels on laminate flooring.
