Sweden: Softwood lumber exports in Jan-Apr 2009

Sweden softwood lumber exports have dropped about 1.1% during the first four months of 2009. Compared to the same month of 2008, the export volume sank in April by 4.4%. Export prices of pine lumber (raw) stood at 1663 SEK (151.10 € / m3) in April, 14.6% below April 2008. Spruce lumber had a price of 1590 SEK (144.5 € / m3), 10.7% lower than in April 2008.
