Pallet manufacturers and balers might have seen the price peaks for softwood lumber, OSB and plywood in the third quarter. At least for softwood lumber, sawmills and processors reported that price peaks were cut. Availability of sidings on the market was better now. In plywood, processors might hope for price redemptions for Elliotis plywood from South America, since the euro has again risen in value. However, European plywood (birch) continued to rise.
