Kaindl Online Interior Studio

Furniture fronts, worktops, floor coverings and walls – rooms are versatile and create space for new ideas. The new Online Interior Studio from Kaindl is a visual design tool to bring digital room designs to life. It enables fast visualisation of customer requirements, presentation of different laying patters and competent style advice.

Kaindl Online Interior Studio

The Online Interior Studio stands out through reduced and intuitive user navigation. Every changeable interior product is marked by an icon in the photo of the room. The user opens the available product selection per mouse click or touch-screen, applies predefined filters to limit the product choice and adds his preferred materials to the room design. It allows any user to combine different product groups such as floors, FloorUps, walls, furniture fronts and worktops. When the user is satisfied with his selection he can save his room design as a PDF in the Styling List, which also contains an overview of the products selected for the room.

One application, many uses
The software tool can issue various versions for the Internet from a single central application. Many different uses are available, ranging from classic PC to POS terminals to mobile tablets. The application is also well-suited for touch-screen systems as user navigation is controlled via photos of rooms. Partners will find the ability to adapt the product range and create specific customer versions particularly interesting. Logos, colours, room photos and products are adaptable to the retailer's requirements.

New Media developments in brief
The Online Interior Studio represents an extension to previous New Media developments from the house of Kaindl such as the web app Kaindl Mobile and the 3D Virtual Apartment. The web app for smartphones and tablets offer fingertip access to all of the Kaindl collections and are gaining popularity among architects and interior designers. Furthermore, Kaindl regularly publishes reading material, photo galleries and installation videos. The Online Interior Studio is also integrated in the web app.

The Kaindl 3D Virtual Apartment promises a special experience via large-scale projection screen and special 3D eyewear. Customers can choose their floors, furniture fronts, worktops and splash-back covers themselves and experience them on a tour of a three-dimensional ambience close to reality. There are also POS terminals and, as the most recent development, a mobile version - Kaindl 3D Terminal - that is intended for use at customer trade shows and roadshows around the world.
