The drive of the early summer wasn't strong enough to carry the German producers of finger-jointed square and beams (KVH) over the usual holiday depression. Demand for KVH declined in August as in previous years. Hopes for a constant order activity over the summer have not been fulfilled. Since the end of July, there have been price adjustments in both directions, which now led to a leveling of the price differences. Special conditions for traders are an increasingly topic. Manufacturers and distributors are describing stock disposals as well-stocked. The prefabricated building industry showed a good order situation. Availability has improved.
