IWF 2008 is projected to attract over 1,300 exhibitors

The International Woodworking Machinery & Furniture Supply Fair-USA® is on pace to set new records for the 2008 show. IWF 2008 already has over 1,200 contracted exhibitors and over 800,000 net square feet of exhibit space sold.
IWF will hold its biennial event on Wednesday-Saturday August 20-23, 2008, at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, Georgia, USA.

“It all starts here at IWF,” said Charles R. (Tommy) Tomkins, IWF 2008 Chairman and President of Cresent Fine Furniture Company, based in Gallatin, Tennessee.

“IWF is the one place where buyers will find all of the products they will need to improve production efficiency, increase profit margins and learn new ways to maximize their staff’s production output utilizing, machinery, supplies and services that they will only find at IWF 2008,” added Tomkins.



In addition to a strong renewal base of past exhibitors increasing their size of space, there is strong demand from new potential exhibitors in key market segments such as cabinetry, furniture, supplies, architectural woodworking and more than woodworking segments areas, solid surfaces, plastics, flooring, windows/doors, machine tooling, composites, material handling, hardware and components.

Exhibitors will showcase the most innovative new technology, machinery, supplies and services ever displayed in one place at one show in the Western hemisphere. IWF buyers will come from 85 countries and all 50 states to see live demonstrations of new equipment showcased by the leading manufacturers in the industry and have the opportunity to explore new ideas through informative technical sessions and networking with peers from around the world.

IWF 2008 will present cutting edge programs geared to meet challenges facing the industry and provide solutions that will impact the industry’s bottom line. The 2008 Fair will showcase a Technical Conference program which will provide real answers from industry leaders, a showcase for new product development at the New Product Showcase, the most coveted award for innovation in the industry The Challengers Distinguished Achievement Award® and the trend setting student Design Emphasis Competition.
