Demand for softwood sawlogs in Austria is continuing high, despite of significantly lower lumber sales in the first half of the year. Sawmills could not built significant winter stocks yet. In the upcoming weeks market capacity should not be a problem, even if harvesting activities will increase. Prices for sawlogs consolidated on a high level over the previous month.
