Escrow service

 
The Fordaq escrow service is there to greatly reduce your risks when doing a transaction.

     

As a buyer:

       
Paying through the escrow account of Fordaq:
You actually decide to pay the seller only after you have received the goods. You are sure not to pay if you are not delivered.
  
     

As a seller:

       
Getting paid through the escrow account of Fordaq:
You deliver the goods only when you are sure that the money is effectively available.

In practice this is very simple:

Buyer and seller agree on a transaction and decide to use the Fordaq escrow service for the payment.
Then:

  1. Buyer transfers the transaction amount on Fordaq escrow account.
  2. Fordaq informs the seller that the money is effectively available.
  3. Seller delivers the goods.
  4. Buyer informs Fordaq he was delivered and that Fordaq can pay the seller.
  5. Fordaq transfers the transaction amount to the seller.
