Description
We are looking to source regular supplies of white ash suitable for hurley making in Europe only. Ash log's ranging from 25 cm - 50 cm is our preferred dimension. We only require the bottom 1.3 meters of the tree, leaving the top for milling, firewood or veneer log's. The ash must be free from defects within the 1.3 meter radius of the butt, for e.g.(No knots, brown heart, butt rot or red ash). Ash with good curved root structure is essential, a minimum of three curved roots per butt.
